Steps to get started
1
Create your account and pick a plan
Sign up and choose Provide Consulting. Then pick a plan: Solo Pro for a solo consultant working directly with clients (one active consultant at a time), or Agency to run multiple active consultants and subcontracting. If you only do subcontracting work, the free Solo Sub plan has its own guide.

2
Complete your subscription (paid plans)
If you picked a paid plan, finish checkout to unlock its features. You can change plans later, and billing is monthly in arrears for actual usage.
In the app: Settings → Subscription
About subscription billing →
3
Build your consultant profile
Create a resume with a title, summary, skills (with proficiency levels), and a single hourly rate. On Agency you can also create profiles for your whole team.
In the app: My Resume → Add Skill
About profiles →
4
Set availability
An availability period is created automatically (40 hrs/week). Adjust your hours and date ranges, and add time off. Your net availability updates automatically as assignments are accepted.
In the app: My Availability
About availability →
5
Connect your payout account
Set up your Stripe payout account so you can get paid. This is required before your profile can go live in search.
In the app: Dashboard → Receive Payments
About payouts →
6
(Optional) Set preferred terms & cadence
Set your preferred payment terms (shown to hiring companies as a hint) and, on Solo Pro and above, your preferred invoice cadence (weekly, biweekly, or monthly).
In the app: Settings → Agreement Templates
About agreement templates →
7
Go visible in search
Once your resume has a summary, at least one skill, an hourly rate, availability, and a connected payout account, flip it to Visible in search so hiring companies can find you.
In the app: My Resume → Visible in search
Activation requirements →
8
Accept assignment proposals
When a hiring company sends a proposal, review the dates, hours, rate, and terms, then accept (or reject). Accepting activates the assignment on its start date.
In the app: Dashboard → Projects & Assignments
About assignments →
9
Get paid automatically
Hours are calculated automatically each billing week (no timesheets). Invoices generate on your cadence, and once the client pays, your payout lands in your bank — typically within ~2 business days.
In the app: Dashboard → Billing
Billing & payouts →
10
Bill expenses & ad-hoc charges
Recover billable expenses and one-off charges through Prilet too. Everything a customer owes flows through the same payment rail and reconciles automatically.
In the app: Invoices → Billable Expenses

FAQ
Common questions
Which plan should I choose?
Solo Pro ($29/mo) — a solo consultant working directly with hiring companies (one active consultant at a time). Agency ($99/mo + per active consultant) — multiple active consultants, roles, subcontracting, and job costing. Solo Sub (free) — subcontracting work only (see the subcontractor guide). See the pricing page for details.
What do I need before I show up in search?
An active resume (summary, at least one skill, and an hourly rate), at least one availability period, a connected payout account, and an active user account.
How do rates work?
Each consultant has a single hourly rate that applies regardless of payment terms. Payment terms are agreed per assignment; your preferred terms are shown to hiring companies as a starting point.
Do my consultants submit timesheets?
No. Hours are calculated automatically from each assignment. You (or a manager) can request adjustments for exceptions, with a short approval window.
When and how do I get paid?
When the hiring company pays an invoice, Prilet pays out to your connected bank account, usually within ~2 business days, minus any origination fee and the Stripe transfer fee.
What are the fees?
Your subscription, an origination fee on engagements with new clients Prilet introduced you to (capped at the first 12 months), and Stripe’s payout fee. Pre-existing client relationships have no origination fee. See the pricing page.
Can I manage a team?
Yes — on the Agency plan you can create and manage multiple consultant profiles, assign managers, run approval workflows, and use job costing.
